FRAMINGHAM – With hearts full of sadness, we would like you all to know that Adam Harris Spiro passed away peacefully in his sleep on Saturday, March 13, 2021.

He is survived by four beautiful, smart, kind children, Lev, Ezra, Judah and Chava Spiro, his mother and father Susan and Jeffrey Spiro, two sisters Samantha Goldenblatt and Leigh Rollings, his brother Seth Spiro, three bothers-in-law Peter Goldenblatt, Luke Ventura and Andy Rollings, and two nephews and two nieces, Miles, Penelope and Silas Goldenblatt and Sydney Rollings.

Adam was born on August 26, 1974 at NYU Medical Center in New York City.

As a kid, he loved being an Eagle Boy Scout, camping, swimming and he had a special love for fish – he spent hours working on his many aquariums.

He went to Framingham High School and never missed performing in the fall and spring musicals. He was president of his sophomore class and graduated with honors.

Adam attended Adelphi University and UMass Boston, earning his Bachelor of Arts in 1997.

He spent the years after working side by side with his father building and expanding a daycare business.

Adam’s pride and joy were his children. He loved to tell anyone about their latest soccer wins, how tall they’d grown or how smart they were getting. Although COVID made it more difficult to see them in person, he relished the calls and texts and hearing every single detail of their lives.

While he has left us too early, Adam never lost his deeply held love for his family. He never stopped thinking about his kids and marveling how they were turning into clever young adults. While now is a time for sadness and grief, one day we know it will be filled with wonderful memories of Adam blasting Disney songs in the car, sneaking Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, or joking around during family dinners.

Due to pandemic restrictions, the outdoor funeral Thursday will be limited to immediate family.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations to your favorite charity.
