1 A snowstorm is forecasted to begin today and it could last until Friday night or early Saturday morning. The good news it is likely to bring only about 6 inches of snow despite its long duration.
2. The Commonwealth of Massachusetts’ vaccine registration site has crashed this morning. More than a million individuals became eligible to register for the vaccine today.
The site https://vaxfinder.mass.gov/ is still crashed at 8 a.m.
Today is the first day individuals age 65 and older can register for the coronavirus vaccine
Today is the first day individuals can schedule appointments at the Natick Mall for vaccines.
Today is also the first day individuals with two co-morbidities can register for the vaccine.
3. Framingham has postponed its vaccine clinic for Saturday, February 20 at Keefe Tech.
COVID testing information for Framingham
- The Commonwealth’s free COVID testing site at Framingham State University’s parking lot, which is by appointment only, expanded to 3 lanes thanks to Senate President Karen Spilka.
- The City of Framingham has yet to open a free walk-up COVID testing site in 2021, although SOURCE has learned they are considering one of the City’s polling places as a potential site.
