NATICK – Eleanor Mae Pimentel Connolly, 88, our mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend passed peacefully on February 7 2021.

She is survived by her children Patricia Sheek (of Upton), Nancy Carson & her husband Bruce, John Connolly and his wife Dana, and Daniel Connolly (all of Natick). Her late son James Connolly Jr. Her grandchildren Gordon and wife June Sheek, Jason and wife Melissa Sheek, Ryan Connolly, Keri, and husband Steve Aldred, Jesse Connolly, Hanna and Haley Carson, Maxwell, Sarah, Jessica, Patrick Connolly and many great grandchildren.

Eleanor was born in Plymouth and raised in Ashland. She lived her adult life in Natick where she raised her family. Her daily appreciation of life, and her ability to bring the best out of everyone made her who she is! Eleanor valued religion and prayed the rosary everyday. Eleanor enjoyed social events at the senior center, dancing, playing bingo, and going to concerts on the common. She was most happy around friends and family whom she loved unconditionally. Holidays were a special time for her especially Christmas with many family traditions that will be celebrated for years to come. She looked forward to yearly family reunions were she was able to gather with her 7 siblings and over 40 nieces and nephews. Everyone should remember grammy Eleanor for her gigantic heart, sense of humor and welcoming nature.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend a Funeral Mass in St. Patrick Church 44 East Central Street (Rt. 135) on Friday February 12 at 10 a.m.

Interment St. Zepherin Cemetery in Wayland.  

The family wants to give a special thank you to the nurses and staff at Beaumont in Westborough.
