FRAMINGHAM – Extreme cold temperatures for Massachusetts are forecasted for Friday, January 29.

Besides a slight chance of snow on Friday morning, residents should also expect winds and cold temperatures.

Friday will reach a high near 17 degrees, according to the national Weather Service.

But with winds at 12-18 miles per hour, and gusts of up to 30 miles per hour, the wind chill could go as low as minus 15 degrees.

Friday night into Saturday the temperature is expected between 5 and 10 degrees with a wind chill of minus 6 degrees.
