Exhibit A Brewing Releases Beer To Honor Teachers But To Support Students

FRAMINGHAM – Exhibit ‘A’ Brewing Company is releasing a new beer called Educator, honoring the teachers who have shaped our lives and continue to help students learn and grow in today’s challenging environment.

To further support local educational efforts, a portion of the proceeds from this beer will be donated to Framingham’s Hoops and Homework after school program. Funds will be used to assist students with remote learning, after school, and summer programs.

“We love our teachers at Exhibit ‘A’! In fact, we have several current and former teachers on our staff,” explained Kelsey Roth, General Manager at Exhibit ‘A’ Brewing Company. “It’s such a challenging time right now with schools doing remote learning that we wanted to show our support and help out our community at the same time. Hoops and Homework was a natural choice for us to partner with since they focus on the students in our neighborhood.”

“This fundraising effort by Exhibit ‘A’ Brewing Company comes at such an important time for us,”said Herb Chasan, Founder of Hoops and Homework. “Having just navigated a year of COVID challenges and now opening an addition to our Interfaith Terrace learning center on February 25th, local companies like Exhibit ‘A’ are helping us raise the funds we need to not only support our current students, but to significantly increase our enrollment”.

Chasan added “I couldn’t be more proud of the way every segment of our community – businesses, government, nonprofits and individuals – all pulled together during this incredibly difficult period.”

Educator is a Dunkels Bock German Style Lager. This 6% ABV beer is a bit stronger than your typical lager and features a rich, caramel maltiness without being heavy or cloying. The style originated in the Northern German city of Einbeck in the 14th Century, and is a great beer for drinking during the winter months.

Educator is available for sale at Exhibit ‘A’ Brewing beginning today January 28 and will be available in liquor stores in Massachusetts and Rhode Island soon after that.
