FRAMINGHAM – Sister Rita McCormack, CSJ, (Sister Mary Kieran), in her 75th year as a beloved member of the Sisters of Saint Joseph of Boston, died Sunday, January 24, 2021. 

Devoted daughter of the late Thomas Edward and Mary Agnes (McHugh) McCormack, and loving sister of the late John, Thomas, Charles, Henry, George, Frederick, Richard, Robert McCormack, and Sister Mary McCormack, CSJ.  Sister Rita is survived by her many cherished nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, great grandnieces and great grandnephews, and her Sisters in the Congregation. 

Formerly missioned as a teacher at Sacred Heart School, W. Lynn; St. Anthony School, Allston; Boston School for the Deaf, Randolph; Aquinas Jr. College, Milton; and Fontbonne Academy, Milton. 

Sister Rita also served as administrative assistant at  the Center for Religious Development, Cambridge; congregation prayer minister of Cohasset and Framingham; and the rectory and parish of of Holy Family, Rockland.

Private Burial.   

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at a later date.
