FRAMINGHAM – There is a service main break on Newbury Street this morning, January 21. Initial reports had it as a water main break.

Framingham DPW Director Blake Lukis said the repair should be completed by 3 p.m. today.

There is just one parcel impacted, according to DPW.

The leak/break was reported at 124 Newbury Street.

The Christa McAuliffe Charter School is located at 139 Newbury Street. There are several businesses and homes on that street.

Lukis said the water main on Newbury Street is 99 years old.
