FRAMINGHAM – John Charles Daugherty, 91 of Framingham passed away Thursday Dec. 10, 2020 at his home surrounded by family. 

Born in Williamsport, PA; he was the son of the late Paul and Ellen (Lilley) Daugherty and husband to Jean (Rosenkrans) Daugherty for 70 years. 

Mr. Daugherty served his country honorably in the Army during the Korean Conflict. 

He went on to graduate Penn State in 1958 with a degree in engineering and would later found DACO Engineering. 

He was a member of the Mayflower Descendants. 

In addition to his wife, he is survived by three children; Susan Diane Carter and her husband Peter of Prescott, AZ; Michael John Daugherty and his wife Helen of Whitinsville; and Andrew Daugherty and his wife Heidi of Hudson, MA; seven grandchildren; Tim McKernan, Heather Haroutunian,  John Daugherty, Jessica Mejia, Samantha Daugherty, Emily Daugherty, and Sarah Daugherty, and eight great-grandchildren, Riley Daugherty, Aidan Daugherty, Charlotte Daugherty, Van Haroutunian, Roman Haroutunian, Jesse Daugherty, Avianna Mejia, and Aislyn Mejia.

Services are private.
