FRAMINGHAM – Five days after the weekend storm, and Brook Street is still close in Framingham.

A wire came down during the storm near Elda Road on Brook Street, causing the shutdown of the major roadway.

District 4 Councilor Michael Cannon and State Rep. Maria Robinson have been working to open the road and get the problem fixed, after residents contacted them.

Eversource responded earlier Tuesday morning that it was not their wire.

Cannon said the City of Framingham learned today, December 10, that it is a Comcast wire that is down.

Councilor Cannon said Comcast is scheduled to be there this afternoon after 2 p.m. to fix it today.
