1 The Framingham Public Schools unveiled a COVID dashboard to be transparent about positive cases last week. Since then 2 more cases have occurred at King Elementary School and a new case at Fuller middle.

Because of the cases at King Elementary, two classrooms at that Water Street school are going remote starting today.

UPDATED: 2. City announced at 9:32 a.m. that the TJX site will be closed today due to the rain.

There is a free drive-thru COVID testing site at TJX Headquarters, off Route 30, open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. today. The Commonwealth of Massachusetts has hired Fallon Ambulance to run the testing site as part of the state’s Stop the Spread campaign.

There is also a free testing site at SMOC HQ at 7 Bishop Street from 3 to 6 p.m. It is walk-up only with limited parking.

UPDATED: 3. CITY OF FRAMINGHAM meetings (all held virtually):

  • CANCELLED – Framingham City Council at 7 p.m.
  • CANCELLED – Loring Arena Committee meeting at 7 p.m.
  • Framingham Strategic Initiative & Financial Oversight Committee at 7 p.m.

4. According to the Mayor’s public schedule, Mayor Yvonne Spicer has no public events.

5. This is National Family Week.
