FRAMINGHAM – The City of Framingham announced 93 new COVID-19 cases since Friday, November 13.

That is almost 400 cases since Halloween weekend.

Since the pandemic, there have been 153 deaths in the City of Framingham.

The state has designated Framingham as a high-risk community for COVID-19 since late August.

Earlier this month, the state changed its metrics and Framingham went from a red community to a yellow community.

That change is deceiving as Framingham started the month of November at 11 cases per day, increased to 15.6 cases per day on November 6 and is at 23.1 cases per day last week.

Framingham has had a total of 2,992. coronavirus cases since the pandemic began.

The good news is 2,486 individuals have recovered. which is 84% of those who were diagnosed with COVID.

Active cases in the City of Framingham increased from 321 to 353

Individuals in quarantine increased from 196 to 211.
