FRAMINGHAM– The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) is announcing it will be implementing a temporary overnight closure of the off-ramp on Interstate 90 westbound at exit 12 (Route 9) in Framingham. The closures will take place overnight from 10 p.m. on Sunday, November 15, through 5 a.m. on Monday, November 16.

Detours will be in place as follows:

  • Drivers looking to exit Interstate 90 westbound at exit 12 will be directed to continue westbound and take exit 11A (I-495) to access Route 9 from I-495 northbound at exits 23 A and B.

Appropriate signage, law enforcement details, and advanced message boards will be in place to guide drivers through the work area.

Drivers who are traveling through the area should reduce speed and use caution.

All scheduled work is weather dependent and may be impacted due to an emergency.
