The daily number of cases per day also increased from 10 cases per day on November 9 to 14 cases per day per 100,000 on November 13.

The Commonwealth of Massachusetts’ positive COVID rate has also increased in the last week from 1.8 to 2.9% as of Friday.

Natick Public Schools has been updating its coronavirus dashboard weekly on Fridays since mid-September.

“There is intense pressure at the state level for us to move all students back into live learning; as we reported to you in August, we cannot fit all students back to live learning with the 6 feet of social distancing,” said Natick Superintendent Anna Nolin. “School Committee and I will continue to have public dialogue about full returns to school, and we will collaborate with the Board of Health as well– as we do weekly, but at this time, with rates rising, we are watching and waiting.”

The Natick School Committee approved a hybrid model for the Natick Public Schools in August.
