FRAMINGHAM – Massachusetts’s average gas price is down 1 cent from last week ($2.08), averaging $2.07 per gallon, according to AAA Northeast, which has an office in Framingham.

Today’s price is the 4 cents lower than a month ago ($2.11), and 49 cents cheaper than November 9, 2019 ($2.56).

Massachusetts’s average gas price is 4 cents lower than the national average.

“As some states increase travel restrictions and others roll back reopening processes, demand is positioned to weaken, though not likely drop as low as we saw in March and April,” said Mary Maguire, AAA Northeast Director of Public and Government Affairs. “That translates to a continuation of cheaper gas prices at the pump.”

AAA Northeast’s November 9 survey of fuel prices found the current national average to be 1 cent lower than last week ($2.12), averaging $2.11 a gallon.

Today’s national average price is 7 cents lower than a month ago ($2.18), and 51 cents cheaper than this day last year ($2.62).
