FRAMINGHAM – MetroWest could see its first snowflakes of the season this week.

The National Weather Service said temperatures could drop low enough that there may be snowflakes on Thursday night, October 29 or Friday, October 30.

Colder air will arrive Thursday night into Friday and depending on the timing, this could mean snowflakes, but there is still a chance of just more dreary grey cloud and more rain.

The National Weather Service issued a map today with the probability of snowflakes. (see below).
