FRAMINGHAM – Framingham Fire Chief Michael Dutcher announced today, October 23, that Deputy Chief John Schultz has been promoted to the Assistant Chief position.

Schultz will replace Dutcher as the Assistant Fire Chief/Chief of Operations. 

Schultz is a 24 year veteran of the Framingham Fire Department, last serving as the head of the Training Division.

Schultz first joined the first department on July 7, 1996. He was promoted to Lieutenant on July 28, 2003.

he became a fire captain on Januaru 7, 2005 and was promoted to deputy chief on December 10 in 2016.
