Water Main Flushing This Week on Central, Water & Elm Streets & Other Neighborhoods

FRAMINGHAM – The Framingham Water Department will begin conducting its autumn water main flushing.

The flushing will continue in designated areas through November 13.

Water main flushing will take place from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., in residential areas and 10 p.m. to 5 a.m., in business areas.

The purpose of the program is to improve drinking water quality for residents and businesses in Framingham.

Zones 1 & 2 were completed earlier this month, and Zone 3 was completed last week.

Roads & streets scheduled this week include:

• Neighborhood near the Wayland Town line
• Neighborhood near the Massachusetts Turnpike/I-90
• Central Street
• Water Street 
• Elm Street
• Potter Road
