FRAMINGHAM: Since the enactment of the statewide Community Preservation Act in the year 2000, cities and towns have had an opportunity to invest in their communities by making 1% to 3% contributions, based on home values, to the Community Preservation Trust.

This statewide Trust Fund distributes variable matching dollars each year based on contributions collected and the number of communities participating.
To date, contributions to the Trust total more than $2 billion dollars.

Over $650 million in state matching gifts have funded tens of thousands of community projects.

Annually, over 175 participating communities have received distributions ranging in size from tens and hundreds of thousands of dollars to millions of dollars. But not in Framingham.

Let’s not lose out on this opportunity again to improve our community for everyone.
Vote YES on 3 for Preservation and Enhancement.
