FRAMINGHAM – Police officers arrested a man and woman on armed robbery charges on Saturday night in downtown Framingham.

Police received a reported of an armed robbery with a knife at 4:18 p.m. at Route 126 and Frederick Street on September 19.

At 4:45 p.m. Police arrested Briana Ramos, 20, of 41 Gilbert Street and Robert Lacroix, 28, of Framingham, with no known address. Bother were charged with armed robbery (knife).

According to police, the Lacroix pulled a knife on the victim and demanded his wallet and cellphone. Female joined in the altercation.

“They had conflicting stories, that the ‘victim’ was attempting to pull the female into his van,” said Framingham Police Lt. Patricia Grigasa.

Victim and 3 witnesses “all heard suspects yelling, give me your wallet, give me our cellphone,” said Lt. Grigas.
