FRAMINGHAM – The City of Framingham, announced in a press release Friday night September 11, it has received a $714,101 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) through the CARES Act.

The CARES Act provided the supplemental CDBG funding to prevent, prepare for, and respond to COVID-19.

The money will be used for the City’s Emergency Small Business Grant Program for businesses and Temporary Financial Assistance Program for residents, said the City.
