FRAMINGHAM – Generations of local families have entrusted their children’s care to Happy Hollow School – including my own grand children, said Realtor Marlene Aron of MetroWest Commercial Real Estate in announcing the sale of the child care center.

The former Happy Hollow School on Oaks Road has been listed for sale for $695,000.

Aron said the current owners may consider a lease with an option to purchase.

“In 1955, a forwarding thinking educator built the original part of the facility, and lived upstairs.  Through the years, additions and conversion to an approx. 5,000 square feet facility developed,” said Aron.

“Beautiful manicured grounds with separate playgrounds are shaded by mature trees and back up to conversation land,” stated the listing.

Parents use on-street parking for drop off and pick-up and it works very well, added Aron.

“This building can be used by nonprofits office / headquarters, schools, religious facilities for religious school, live-in home occupation.  If not used for daycare, the parking area can be expanded,” said Aron.

Several teachers would like to come back and people are still calling to find out if they will reopen soon.
