FRAMINGHAM – The Framingham girls U-16 softball team, known as the Fury, defeated the Natick Red Hawks last night in Twin Valley League playoffs.  The finals core was 6-5.

Framingham now faces Shrewsbury in the semi-finals on Thursday in Shrewsbury.

Lead by strong hitting from Amber Welch and Catherine Seay, Framingham jumped out to an early 3-0 lead.

Julia Matz was in top form keeping Natick off balance all night. 

Kayla Goodridge and Alexis Deleon made fabulous defensive plays to keep Natick off the board.

Framingham struck for 2 additional runs late in the game with daring baserunning from Brooke Anderson and solid line drives from Welch and Seay.
