FRAMINGHAM – The New England Scholastic Band Association (NESBA) has cancelled all of its fall events for the 2020 season, including any marching band competitions.

“The New England Scholastic Band Association considers the safety and well-being of our members, staffs, judges and fans crucial in our decision-making process. The current health risks due to Covid-19 require us to make the difficult decision to suspend all Fall Activities for the 2020 season. The health and safety of our students is far too valuable to endanger,'” said the Association today, July 26.

NESBA was established to engender and maintain enthusiastic interest in the various phases of music, colorguard, percussion ensembles and music education in our secondary schools. NESBA’s primary thrust is to provide an atmosphere in which education and musicality are of the utmost importance.
