EVERETT – The Encore Boston Harbor hotel and casino re-opens in Everett today, July 12
Brian Gullbrants, president of Encore Boston Harbor, discussed the new precautions at the property, due to the coronavirus pandemic. The property has been closed for about four months. Casinos were allowed to re-open under phase II of the Commonwealth’s re-opening plan.
Guests and casino goers will be asked to wear face coverings and plexiglass barriers have also been installed, along with other social distance measures.

“The City of Everett welcomes the return of Encore Boston Harbor, as it means that hundreds of employees can get back to work in a healthy and safe environment,” Everett Mayor Carlo DeMaria said in a statement. “We encourage visitors to enjoy Encore while adhering to the COVID safety protocols and hope that they will also explore all of the great shops and restaurants that our city has to offer.”
