“Like the heroes we honor today, we are witnessing frontline heroes— nurses, doctors, grocery workers, EMTs, teachers, postal workers, and janitors— giving their all to keep us safe. Neighbors and family members are providing care to those in need and donating time and resources. All across the nation, Americans are making sacrifices to keep our communities safe and to beat the invisible enemy we face,” said Rep. Clark.
“I know this isn’t how we planned to commemorate Memorial Day—no parades, no ceremonies, no barbeques or gatherings with friends and family, but it’s moments like this that truly cement our nation as the “home of the brave”,” said Congresswoman Clark.
