FRAMINGHAM – The City of Framingham reported 3 more COVID-19 deaths, today, May 15.

Wednesday, the City of Framingham announced six more COVID-19 fatalities. That made 27 deaths in roughly the last week.

In total, there have been 69 deaths due to COVID-19 or complications from the virus.

Today, the City of Framingham reported 24 new cases of the Coronavirus.

That brings the total number of positive cases since the pandemic began in the City on March 11 to 1,374 cases.

The good news is 519 individual have recovered.

The city now has 786 active cases as of May 15.

In addition to the active cases, the Framingham Health Department currently is following 275 residents in quarantine.

It is unknown how many individuals have been tested for the virus in Framingham.

There are more than 70,000 residents in the City of Framingham.

The 1,374 coronavirus cases is about 2% of the city’s population.
