FRAMINGHAM – Robert David Long, 84, of Framingham died on May 5, 2020.

Beloved husband of Mary (Davis) Long. Devoted father of Marie Merchant and her husband Jim of Florida and Susan Long of Upton. Loving grandfather of Samantha Swords and her husband Brett, Skylar Rupert, Justin, April and Bret Hackenson. Brother of the late Elizabeth Robataille. Son of the late David and Barbara (Berwick) Long.

“Bobby” will be greatly missed by his wife of 51 years, children and grandchildren, his cousins, nieces and nephews.

He enjoyed swimming in his pool in the summer on Lilian Road, showing off his tan, his newspaper, his recliner in the evening and the Red Sox.
