Firefighters Extinguish Brush Fire Off Route 135

ASHLAND – Ashland firefighters extinguished a brush fire between the Hindu Temple off Waverly Street and the rear of Roberts Road.

Ashland Fire Department was assisted by a brush unit from DCR Fire District 14.

Burning season ended on May 1, so open burning is no longer permitted in the Town of Ashland.
