ASHLAND – Ashland Town Manager Michael Herbert announced today, April 30, that Ashland Town Hall will be closed through May 29.

He said all Ashland public building would be closed for the month of May.

That means the Town Hall, Ashland Public Library, etc will re-open on Monday, June 1.

Herbert said he wanted some extra time to figure out plans for re-opening.

“We need to get this right, and not necessarily get this done quickly,” said Herbert, on why he chose to keep Ashland public buildings closed through the end of may.

Governor Charlie Baker extended his non-essential business closure to May 18 earlier this week.
