FRAMINGHAM – Mayor Yvonne Spicer seeks to re-appoint Michael Tusino as the Framingham Director of Inspectional Services and Building Commissioner.

The City Council has 30 days to approve the re-appointment.

Tusino has been the Building Commissioner since 2012.

“Over the past several years, he has been responsible for the work of the Inspectional Services Division during some of their busiest years. He has served on a number of City task forces and committees, such as the Fuller Middle School Building Committee, Air BND committee. He has worked to established stability in his workforce and ensured training and certification for his staff,” wrote the Mayor to the City Council on April 16.

“His division has handled over 8,300 permits and $3.2 million in revenue several years in a row. He has supervised code enforcement activities for over 825 cases that has made a positive difference in several of
Framingham’s neighborhoods,” wrote the Mayor.
