NATICK – The CEO of Mary Ann Morse Healthcare, which operates facilities in Natick & Framingham announced today, April 20, “we are extremely grateful to report that we have no new cases of COVID-19 among residents or staff at either Mary Ann Morse at Heritage, or Mary Ann Morse Healthcare Center.”

Last week, it was reported nine residents died at the Natick location due to COVID-19 or complications from the coronavirus.

Also last week, the CEO reported 75 residents and 36 staffers at the Natick location had tested positive for COVID-19, after testing by the National Guard. And 5 residents had tested positive at the Framingham location on Water Street in Nobscot.

“We will continue with our application of stringent infectious disease protocols, social distancing, and daily medical screening of staff and residents to assure we remain diligent in our efforts to protect our residents and staff,” wrote CEO Lisa Kubiak.

“An incredible comfort to us has been the enormous outpouring of support from our communities to our staff and residents.  We have been brought to tears by the continuous stream of meals, beverages, Girl Scout cookies, cards, public signs, letters, positive messages, and calls to our facilities. Thank you, thank you, thank you,” wrote Kubiak.

“Your support truly inspires us each and every day to keep going, to stay strong, to keep up the fight. We know there is nothing more important. Each of these acts of kindness has been a moment of beauty and light in a world that has been full of darkness recently. Your support and good will have lifted our burdens. In closing, we move forward each day in hope. Your support helps us do that, and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts,” said the CEO.
