FRAMINGHAM – The City of Framingham’s Memorial Building will shine blue to honor healthcare workers and first responders, including police officers, firefighters, and DPW employees, on the front lines during the COVID-19 pandemic, announced the City today, April 9.
UPDATED: The City’s spokesperson said the first night the building went blue was on Tuesday, April 7.
“Lighting the Memorial Building blue is a small gesture to express deep appreciation for efforts and sacrifices healthcare workers and first responders provide to the Framingham community, and nationwide,” said Mayor Yvonne M. Spicer. “Thank you for everything you do for our City.
