FRAMINGHAM – The Framingham Public Library sent out an email stating it was working to keep its libraries “clean and safe.”
“We’re stepping up our cleaning throughout the day and every night after closing by disinfecting doorknobs, handles, and frequently touches surfaces,” said the library. “We’ll be installing paper towels dispensers and trash receptacles at the exits of each public restroom for your convenience, as you exit the restrooms to minimize door handle touching.”
The library asked that patrons of the bookmobile, the main library and the Christa McAuliffe branch use hand sanitizers that are available on each floor.
And reminded patrons that many of the library’s services can be used remotely too.
