“Big win for the Flyers to make us 9-10 and one step closer to the playoffs,” said head coach Kristen Fucarile.

The Flyers are now 7-7 in the Bay State Conference.

Freshmen Katie Regan led the team with 20 points and 11 rebounds.

“Katie started to look for her shot as her counterpart to her aggressive moves to the basket and was able to hit 3 major 3’s for us,” said Fucarile.

Junior captain Hannah Krier had 12 points.

She “carried her intensity on defense to her strong confident moves to the basket on offense,” said the head coach.

Sophomore Nicole Moran had 11 points and 10 rebounds for the Flyers.

“Nicole finds the ball and rips it down with a level of urgency to give her team another chance or an important defensive board to start our fast break,” said Coach Fucarile.

Freshmen Selina Monestime put in a solid 9 for Framingham, and registered 10 rebounds and 5 assists.

“Selina found her teammates and went to work on the boards,” said Fucarile.

The Flyers recognized all three seniors at the game.

“Vienna Monestime who has been a 4-year varsity member, Chloe Pearce 4 year varsity member, and Jazlynn Leung 1 year varsity player. The team has some great leadership from our captains and seniors,” said Fucarile.

Next up for Framingham is an away game on Tuesday against Shrewsbury High School at 1:30 p.m.
