FRAMINGHAM – Framingham State junior forward Flannery O’Connor has been named the New England Women’s Basketball Association All-Region Second Team. 

O’Connor, who was a 1st Team All-NEWBA and MASCAC Player of the Year a year ago, lands on the All-NEWBA second team after earning 1st Team All-MASCAC honors. O’Connor averaged a double-double of 17.8 points per game and 10.3 rebounds. Her average points per game were first in the MASCAC while rebounds second at the end of the regular season. She also was in the top five in field goal percentage (51.2), free throw percentage (79.8), total rebounds (205) and blocks (22). 

The Rams finished their season with an overall record of 17-6 and 9-3 in MASCAC earning the #2 seed in the MASCAC Tournament.
