Octave of Light is an album inspired by the search for life on exoplanets, and the clues that might reveal life’s presence: chemical signs like water vapor, methane, and oxygen. Throughout the performance of the album, you’ll learn a musical language of molecules, elements, and exoplanets – woven into songs for soprano, piano, violin, and electronics.

The 4 p.m. performance is intended for younger youth.

The 7 p.m. performance will include a special introduction and Q&A with Roland Vanderspek, Principal Research Scientist for NASA’s Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite (TESS) mission.

Registration is required

Tickets are $5/person. Free for all attendees ages 10 and under.

Free parking in campus parking lots.
