FRAMINGHAM _ The Framingham Public Library’s book club will discuss the book The Personal Librarian by Marie Benedict and Victoria Christopher Mu on Tuesday night December 6 via Zoom.

The Personal Librarian is fictionalized telling of the lifework of Belle da Costa Greene, the personal librarian to J. P. Morgan, as well as the first director of the Morgan Library & Museum.

The Personal Librarian tells the story of an extraordinary woman, famous for her intellect, style, and wit, and shares the lengths she must go to—for the protection of her family and her legacy—to preserve her carefully crafted white identity in the racist world in which she lives, according to the publisher.

Discussion begins at 7 p.m.
