MARLBOROUGH – Norbert J. Daigle, 88, of Marlborough died at his home on Wednesday May 6, 2020.

He was the husband of Norma M. (Landry) Daigle for the past 60 years.

  Norbert was born, raised and educated in Pointe Sapin, New Brunswick, Canada the son of the late  Hubert and Melanise (Robichaud) Daigle.

He worked as a machinist in Waltham for many years. Norbert also was a driver for Boston Scientific in Waltham and was a crossing guard at Whitcomb Middle School. 

He was a member of the French Club in Waltham,  Knights of Columbus 167 and was an avid Montreal Canadiens and Boston Bruins fan. He was quiet and kind. 

He was the father of Alfred J. “Big Al” Daigle who died in 2018. He leaves his sister Denise Butler of Bathurst, NB; many nephews and nieces.

Funeral services and burial will be held in New Brunswick, Canada. There are no calling hours.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Collins Funeral Home, 378 Lincoln Street, Marlborough.
