ASHLAND – The Town of Ashland is reporting 9 new cases of the coronavirus over the weekend, for a total of 171 cases, as of noon on Monday, May 11.

In the last 24 hours, the community has seen a 5.5% increase in positive COVID-19 cases.

The community had 162 cases on Friday, May 8.

It is unknown how many residents have been tested in Ashland.

The good news is that 88 of those who have tested positive for the virus have recovered.

Municipal officials released the number of cases positive and recovered by age today, May 11.

The Town of Ashland is not reporting how many individuals have died from COVID-19 or complications from the virus.

But, SOURCE has reported that Waterview Lodge has had 7 fatalities.

And the Residences at Valley Farm on Route 126 in Ashland has had 2 deaths.
