HUDSON/MARLBOROUGH – The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) announced it will be implementing overnight closures of the on-ramps from I-290 eastbound to I-495 northbound and the Route 85 connector in Hudson and Marlborough.

The closures will be in place on Tuesday, October 11 and Wednesday, October 12, during overnight hours from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. following mornings.

These temporary overnight traffic impacts are necessary to allow crews to safely and effectively conduct bridge repair operations.

During the overnight work, traffic seeking to access I-495 northbound or the Route 85 connector will be directed to utilize I-495 southbound to exit 63A (Route 20 eastbound).

Appropriate signage, law enforcement details, and messaging will be in place to guide drivers through the work area.

Drivers who are traveling through these areas should expect delays, reduce speed, and use caution.

All scheduled work is weather dependent and subject to change.
