WASHINGTON DC – President Donald Trump’s national social distancing guidelines end today, April 30.

Initially established on March 16, the guidelines include practicing basic hygiene, avoiding nursing homes, and avoiding gatherings of “more than 10 people.”

In Massachusetts, Governor Charlie Baker has extended the state’s social distancing guidelines through May 18.

The United States now has the post confirmed cases worldwide 1.054 million cases as of 4 p.m. April 30.

Worldwide, there are more than 3.255 million confirmed cases.

The Centers for Disease Control is reporting 60,057 deaths as of noon today, April 30, with 2,552 reported in the last 24 hours.

The U.S. is leading the world in COVID-19 deaths, with more than 18,000 deaths in New York.
