FRAMINGHAM – Framingham Legion baseball picked up both wins last night at Bowditch Field beating Sturbridge Legion 9-4 and 16-5 in double header action.

The team is now 10-9.

Framingham starting pitcher for Game 1 was Jaron Duffy who went all 7 innings to pick up the win for Post 74. For Framingham, Connor Kramer went 3-4 with a HR and 5 RBI’s, David Maude went 3-4 with 4 SB and Antonio Rivera went 2-3 with 3 runs scored.

In game 2, Framingham went down 5-2 after the first two innings before the bats really came alive. Max Stevelman started a big rally for Framingham with a two out double of the left field fence as bases were loaded to tie the game.

Framingham would pick up 11 more hits in the next 3 innings including Dom Morelli 4-5 with 3 Triples and 5 RBI, Chris Cordani 2-4 with 3 RBI’s and an excellent defensive performance from Kyle Chan behind the dish for both game. Alex Tosi, Brady Levonsohn and Jake Maude all pitched well for Framingham.

Framingham travels to Cherry Valley on Saturday for an 11 a.m. game.
