FRAMINGHAM – The Framingham Legion baseball team defeated Leominster 9-8 Wednesday night with a walk off win to bring the team to 3-1 on the season.

The offense was lead by Dom Morelli who was 4 for 4 with 3 2B, 4 runs, 2 RBI.

Max Stevelman was 1 for 2 with the game tying 3B that one hopped and hit the center field fence and scored Antonio Rivera to tie the game at 8-8. Stevelman then scored the game winning run.

Rodrigo Ramirez was 2 for 4 with 2 RBI and a SB.

Connor Kramer went 1 for 3 with 2 RBI’s including the winning RBI.

Conner Cowern was 2 for 4 with an RBI.

For Framingham, Jack Maude started the game on the bump and battled all game long. Patrick Chapin pitched very well in relief going 2 2/3 Innings with 5k’s. Max Stevelman finished the game for Framingham and picked up the win in relief.

Maude threw out 1 baserunner and picked off 2 others while Rivera played great at 3B and was on base 3 out of 4 times

Framingham will host East Side on Sunday, June 19 for a double header at 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. at Bowditch Field in Framingham.
