FRAMINGHAM – The City of Framingham reported 58 new COVID-19 cases on Saturday, April 25.

With the 58 new cases, Framingham now has 632 positive coronavirus cases since the pandemic began.

The City of Framingham reported 3 new fatalities.

Since the pandemic began, Framingham has had 14 COVID-19 fatalities, said the City.

The good news is that the City is reporting 101 individuals have recovered from the virus.

About half of the new cases are connected to MCI Framingham.

Framingham SOURCE reported 66 inmates were positive for the virus Friday night.

The City of Framingham announced that every Saturday the Framingham Department of Public Health will release data based on all confirmed COVID-19 cases of the City since March 1, 2020.

This data includes information about confirmed cases by age, gender, race/ethnicity, fatalities, nursing homes, skilled nursing facilities, and residential settings. The data release will also include information about rates per 100,000 population.
