The following is the road construction schedule for this week, April 26.

Editor’s Note: The City of Framingham’s Department of Public Works said all projects will be conducted in conformance with the health and safety protocols set forth by the Commonwealth and the City of Framingham. As the situation with COVID-19 is ever-changing, construction schedules are subject to change.

Beaver Street Bridge: Bridge work continues. The bridge will be closed to through traffic and pedestrians until Fall 2020. A detour will be in effect at all times.

Carlson Road Bus Stop: Bus stop improvements continue at the intersection of Glen Street, Carlson Road, and Pusan Road. Expect moderate delays.

Central Street/Edgell Road Utility Improvements: Water main installation and sewer work continues. Edgell Road (from Central Street to Belknap Road) will be closed to through traffic. A detour will be in effect during working hours, from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Please seek an alternate route.

Marble Street Roadway Improvements: Utility cable relocation continues. Expect minor delays.

New York Avenue Traffic Calming: Traffic calming construction improvements continue. Expect minor delays.

Salem End Road (from Stalker Lane to the Ashland town line): Eversource Gas will begin relaying gas main on Salem End Road from Stalker Lane to the Ashland town line. A one-way alternating traffic pattern will be in effect. Expect delays at times.

Union Avenue and Pearl Street Utilities: Water main installation will continue on Pearl Street (between Union Avenue and Franklin Street).
Pearl Street (from Franklin Street to Union Avenue) will be closed to through traffic. A detour will be in effect during working hours, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM. Please seek an alternate route. Expect moderate delays at times. 

Waverly Street/Blandin Avenue Sidewalk Improvements near Modera: Preparation will begin for sidewalk pouring near 266 Waverly Street at Modera and Blandin Avenue at Modera. Pedestrians will be routed around the work zone.

Worcester Road Water and Sewer Improvements –  Phase I: Water and sewer main installation continues from 150 Worcester Road/Route 9 East to the Natick town line. Two lanes will be closed on Worcester Road/Rt.9 East. Expect delays. Please note this project will temporarily be conducted between the hours of 7 a.m. to 11 p.m., Monday – Friday.
