FRAMINGHAM – Framingham Police are investigating a pedestrian struck last Thursday, March 3.

The incident happened at 1:56 p.m. at 1400 Worcester Road.

The driver “pulled out of the parking lot onto Route 9 and struck the pedestrian who was walking in front of the vehicle,” said Framingham Police spokesperson Lt. Rachel Mickens.

The female pedestrian, 71, was taken to MetroWest Medical Center in Framingham with “what appeared to be non-life-threatening injuries,” said Lt. Mickens.

No citation has been issued.
