FRAMINGHAM – The Framingham Public Library’s Brown Bag Learning Series continues this month with Textiles & Tortillas: Contemporary Mayan Women in Guatemala presented by Devik Wyman.

The Brown Bag is Friday March 11 from noon to 1 p.m. via Zoom.

The lives of many rural Guatemalan women still center around weaving intricate textiles, growing corn, and preparing tortillas for their families. Devik Wyman shares photos of artisans, markets, a co-op empowering local women among others to offer a window into this intriguing country.
