FRAMINGHAM – The Framingham Public School district surpassed 2,000 COVID cases reported during the 2021-22 school year.
The district is reporting 2,001 COVID cases as of today, January 20.
There is just under 10,000 students in the district.
Framingham Public Schools reported 59 new COVID cases today, January 20.
It is unknown if the 59 cases are all students, staff, or a combination of both. The district does not separate that number in its dashboard.
On January 10, the district reported a record, one-day high of 148 new cases.

Last week, there were 510 cases reported in the Framingham Public Schools, which is more than 36% of all cases reported during the 2021-2022 school year.
Students and staff returned back to the classrooms on Monday, January 3, after the winter holiday vacation break.
There have been 1,411 cases in the school district since January 1, 2022.
Almost 2/3rd of the cases this school year have been since January 1, 2022.
Today the district reported 16 new COVID cases at Harmony Grove Elementary.
Thirteen cases were reported at Framingham High.
Nine cases were reported at Walsh Middle and a half dozen cases at King Elementary.
Three cases were reported at each of the following elementary schools: Dunning, Hemenway & Barbieri
One case was reported at both Cameron & Fuller Middle schools.
One case was also reported at: Potter Road, Brophy, & McCarthy elementary schools.
One new COVID case was reported at the Farley administration building.
Framingham High School leads the school district with 508 cases, during the 2021-22 school year. There are roughly 2,400 student at the high school.
Walsh Middle School is second with 172 cases.
Cameron has had 163 cases.
Eleven of the district’s schools have reported cases in the triple digits.
Farley administration building has had 34 cases.
