BOSTON – The National Weather Service in Boston has issued a high wind warning for Monday, April 13.

The warning is from 3 to 8 p.m. in parts of Middlesex County, which includes MetroWest & Framingham.

Winds will be from the south at 20 to 30 miles per hour, with gusts up to 65 miles per hour.

Damaging winds will blow down trees and power lines.

Widespread power outages are expected.

Travel will be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.

People should avoid being outside in forested areas and around trees and branches. If possible, remain in the lower levels of your home during the windstorm, and avoid windows. Use caution if you must drive.
