FRAMINGHAM – A GoFundMe has been launched for the late Ryan Gaudet, a Framingham High graduate, star wrestler, and corrections officer.
The fundraiser was launched by Gail Zecker-Chancey of Ashland.
“Ryan Gaudet was traveling home on Christmas Eve morning after working overnight serving others as a Corrections Officer in Shirley, Massachusetts. He was heading home to his family to spend time celebrating the holidays. As Ryan was heading home he encountered icy road conditions which ended tragically,” she wrote.

“Everyone who knew Ryan says he could light up a room with his smile. He had the biggest heart and was always willing to help friends and family. Ryan was passionate about wrestling and lead the Framingham Flyers win the state championship in 2015. His passion for helping others extended throughout the community,” she wrote.
“Ryan’s career in law enforcement clearly showed that he put his life on the line every day to serve others. His selfless ability to help others was admirable and courageous. His loss is tragic for his family, friends and his community as a whole,” she wrote.
“This unimaginable loss has left Ryan’s family with unforeseeable expenses. We are asking for donations to help support his family in their time of need,” she wrote.
